Brene Brown writes that anxiety and fear are “Places we go when things are uncertain or too much.”
Fear and anxiety unleash adrenaline in the body and kick off a series of harmful physical and mental effects. Both can tighten muscles, raise blood pressure, upset our tummies, keep us up at night, and drain our energy.
This session will help you learn some physical and mental techniques you can use to help lessen the consequences fear and anxiety have on your physical and mental health.
- Yoga postures that elicit a grounding and calming effect
- Breathwork that shifts out of feelings of protection and gripping
- Mindfulness meditation to help you train your brain to stay in the present moment
- Self-connection exercises to help you understand your patterns
This session is part of a series of workshops being held around the holidays and into 2025. These sessions are designed to help support you on your journey towards better health, relationships, and self-knowledge that can empower you to make the changes you might be ready to make in your life.
